as is the same for almost every single person active on neocities dot org, i've been kinda disillusioned by the state of the modern internet, commodifying internet expression and locking social interactions behind walled gardens or whatever the cool kids say. I've always been kinda fascinated by static websites from a young age. Thought they were really cool at the time (still are.) Come a couple years ago, give or take, i started this site, then immediately dropped it the next day. It wasnt until around summer of 2023 when I really started to take this thing seriously, and the rest is kinda history.
